Dermapen creates controlled microchannels in the scalp, stimulating the skin’s natural renewal process and promoting blood circulation. At the same time, these microchannels may help appropriately selected active ingredients penetrate the skin more effectively.
A regular course of treatments contributes to improving scalp condition, strengthening the hair and supporting its growth cycle. For more visible results, a course of 4–6 treatments at recommended intervals is generally advised.
First, a specialist assesses the condition of the scalp and prepares it for treatment. Controlled scalp microneedling is then performed using the Dermapen device. The treatment depth is adjusted according to the specific area and the client’s individual needs.
After treatment, the scalp may be temporarily red and more sensitive. These effects usually subside gradually. It is important to follow the recommended aftercare and avoid irritating products according to the specialist’s instructions.
The treatment is particularly unsuitable in cases of acute inflammation, infection or injury to the scalp, certain skin conditions, impaired wound healing or blood-clotting disorders. It may also be unsuitable when taking certain medications or during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
